I have quite a few characters, but the ones linked below are highlighted because I feel they are some of my strongest work. I deeply enjoyed the process of building them - Adel and Tragus were based on very old personal characters of mine, while Dormin is a love letter to the character by the same name in Shadow of the Colossus, and Logan is one of my most complex characters to date.
Logan is cagey, a black sheep in the flock of Skydas. No-one must know of the terrible things she’d done... especially not her nephew, Lennart, the light of her life. She's killed to keep her sins buried. But what is she so desperate to hide?
A broken family, the cruelty of love, and vengeance wrought with blood.
In the desolate, polar north, Tragus was the voice of God, kin to Liraal herself... now, he has fallen from grace. Cast into the Rift by wolves he once trusted, and the heretic that undermined their faith...
For a chance to return and reap vengeance on the Deceiver, he would do anything.
An omen of death, some might say. A grieving wolf haunted by the death of all they held dear. They were once a formidable warrior, though years of neglect have left them a husk of the wolf who was once Dormin.
Now, the vessel is dying, driven to desperation by the terrible curse that grips them...
A dreamer, once emboldened by the promises of the Red Witch, only to lose everything in his folly. Adel is desperate to cure the Rot that afflicts him, so he followed Yetta reluctantly into the west.
Stonehaven isn't home, but his friends are there... and what's left of his family. He'll take what he can get.
Below are a few examples of illustrations I have made. My illustration style is flexible, and I try to change it up to match the feeling or overall vibe of each piece I create rather than restricting myself to a single format or brand style (Disney, Studio Ghibli, etc.)
