By commissioning me, you are agreeing to all of the terms of service stated below. All sections are subject to change.
I will accept requests via DeviantArt notes, email, or forms submitted through my Contact page!
All commissions require a 50% deposit, and the other 50% must be paid once the initial sketch is approved. I accept PayPal or Venmo.
Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for art completion, and 8 weeks for literature completion. I'm willing to negotiate quicker turnarounds, but any and all rush orders will incur a fee. If it occurs that something will delay or prevent the completion of your commission, I will notify you as soon as possible.
When you commission artwork from me, you agree to pay for artwork in my illustration style, which is semi-realistic to cartoon. I occasionally can work with a lineless painting style, but be advised that this kind of piece will take longer for me to complete.
When you commission literature from me, you agree to pay for a work in my writing style, which can sometimes play fast and loose with things like grammar and prose. Everyone has different methods of writing!
I do not release the PSD files of my work. You will receive a full size high resolution image file (JPG, PNG, or TIFF) once the piece is completed. You may request which type of the three allowed image files you want the finished commission to be sent as.
You may not reproduce or sell finished commission pieces without my permission. If you are commissioning me with intent to sell the finished artwork or literature, please state this when you make your initial request. I retain the rights to use commissioned pieces in my gallery as examples.
Please provide a clear flat color character reference when submitting your commission request. If you don't have a reference sheet, please provide a detailed description of your character in 200+ words or more. Stock images to give a rough idea of the character's appearance are also helpful.
A rough sketch will be provided for initial approval.
I will allow three revisions for free, an additional fee of $5 will be charged per revision for any further changes before proceeding.
No large revisions (changing the composition, character, setting, etc.) are allowed once the sketch is approved.
If the commission includes shading or a background, a work in progress image will be provided to discuss lighting and color palette preferences after the character has been lined & colored.
Please provide a premise for your commission. It can be as brief or detailed as you like - I can work with anything from a sparknotes summary to a bullet point outline of the story's whole plot. Below are a few key questions to answer in your request:
What is the setting and genre of the story?
Who are the characters, and are their histories relevant to the plot?
Are there specific themes you want to see in the story?
Is there a specific word count you want the story to be? This is important for determining the 50% deposit.
A rough draft of at least half the desired word count will be provided for initial approval.
I will allow up ten revisions for free, as they can occur frequently during the writing process. Additional requests will add $5 per revision over the limit to the final total, for a maximum of $20 extra.
No large revisions (changing the plot, characters, genre, etc) to the draft will be accepted once it is approved. After revisions, the buyer will pay the remaining 50% of the commission and work will continue.
Once the draft meets the full desired word count, the buyer will be notified for a review and final revisions.
Completed commissions are non-refundable. You have no right to cancel or demand a refund under any circumstances after the commission has been completed and sent to you.
You may cancel a commission at any time after the sketch or draft is approved and receive a 50% refund. The initial 50% down payment is non-refundable to compensate me for my time.
I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time. If I am unable to complete a commission due to personal circumstances that require me to cancel it, a 100% refund will be issued. You will also receive the work completed before cancellation.
If you have commissioned me and I have not heard from you in 3 months after the initial sketch or draft, progress on your order will be paused. After 4 months the order is void, and no refunds will be offered. If a fraudulent chargeback is issued, you will be blacklisted and the rights to the art default to me.
Animal characters, fantasy creatures, anthropomorphic creatures, and humans.
Fandom characters, provided I'm given the information I need to draw/write for the desired fandom.
I will also design environments, reference sheet templates, and object concepts.
I am willing to draw some types of mature content, provided the purchaser can prove they are 18+ years of age. I will not commission any type of mature content without this proof.
SFW Romance (LGBTQ+ welcome).
Moderate suggestive themes, violence, and action scenes.
MILD blood and gore, body horror.
Dark themes and imagery.
NSFW (Explicit sexual content, genitalia, fetish art, etc).
Graphic violence, excessive blood and gore.
Discriminatory or harmful subject matter.
